Fire rises, flames consume
As we watch the sky for hope
Rain pours down, the water devours
As we look at the horizon for peace
The storms come and overtake
But we gaze at the mountains for joy
As if nothing is wrong
God, deliver us,
We can't watch any longer
Give us peace and hope
Deliver us from this torment
Do not let us watch for You any more
Reveal yourself in the sky,
Show yourself in the mountains,
Appear on the horizon,
You are God
Show us love and joy
Separate us from these trials
Shelter us from the pain
